Suzanne Kirton

Suzanne practises in the area of commercial litigation, especially in building and construction law - commercial, domestic and regulatory.

Her years of experience have resulted in highly developed advocacy skills as well as tactical expertise and the ability to prepare the factual, legal and technical aspects of a case.

She came to the Bar with a background in domestic building insurance and has since broadened her experience by acting as a junior counsel in major commercial construction cases she appears before the Building Appeals Board and the Building Practitioners' Board.

She is also experiences in VCAT's other jurisdictions, such as planning, tenancies, real property and fair trading.
