Tom's practice is focused on planning and environmental law, building, construction and engineering, and property.

He has had long experience with issues surrounding sustainability and climate change issues, having completed a Masters in Environmental Law in the 1990's.

Prior to studying law, Tom studied to be an architect, giving him a unique perspective on planning, building and construction issues. Tom has wide ranging experience in property disputes.

Tom has a keen interest and knowledge of environmental and construction issues concerning mining exploration and operation activities.
