Brian Kennedy accepts briefs in diverse areas and has strong experience in commercial, traffic (negligence) and traffic infringement matters. He has arbitrated commercial disputes. 

His broad experience in litigation and appropriate dispute resolution allows efficient assessment of facts, law and circumstances resulting in early identification of a case’s strengths and difficulties.

Brian’s strong communication skills facilitate communication with a broad range of clients and parties. Brian’s acute commercial sense promotes cost effective representation and real solutions. 

Brian spent over 6 years as a litigation lawyer, predominantly at Gadens Lawyers in banking and finance, insolvency, general commercial disputes and complex tort matters. He previously worked as a litigator in generalist firms and understands solicitors’ expectations well.

Brian holds a Master of Commercial Law, focusing on subjects that have strengthened his knowledge of commercial and banking litigation, insolvency, defamation (including online) and the law of evidence.

Brian read with Michael Gronow and his senior mentor was Ross Gillies QC.
