Resolving Differences

Traditionally, Barristers were engaged to handle the preparation and the running of the trial of a dispute in a Court or Tribunal. Over the last twenty years, there has been a significant change in the way businesses and corporations deal with litigious or potentially litigious matters. Let's face it, there are not many individuals, businesses or corporations who could continue to sustain the high costs of litigating matters in Courts or Tribunals.

Early resolution of a dispute or potential dispute is very desirable because it will save the client time, money and stress. Our members have become very skilled in assisting clients to resolve their differences early either by an agreed mediation process or Court ordered mediation.

Many of our members are also accredited mediators. We have developed a cost effective approach to assist corporate counsel and government lawyers to use mediation services for early resolution of disputes or potential disputes.
