Insurance & Professional Negligence

The Insurance and Professional Negligence section of the Commercial Bar Association provides an important network for the dissemination of information that assists Barristers practising in the areas of insurance and professional negligence to stay abreast of vital developments in their practice area.

It achieves this through the presentation of seminars at the  Victorian Bar's Continuing Professional Development program, the conduct of less formal lunchtime discussion meetings, and by circulating members with notice of events, conferences and other opportunities for their professional development.

Our section aims to provide tangible form to the body of insurance/professional negligence experts at the Victorian Bar, and to contribute to the maintainance and enhancement of the high standards of expertise amongst those practitioners.
