Philip Crutchfield S.C., Chair

Philip Crutchfield S.C. practices in all areas of company and commercial law. He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2009.

Jim Doherty, Deputy Chair

Jim Doherty has a broad commercial litigation practice with specialties in trade practice and financial services law, including managed investments, superannuation and life insurance.  He also advises on company and trusts law matters. 

Dr Philip Bender, Secretary

Dr Philip Bender has broad experience in corporations and securities law.  He has experience in superannuation and managed investment funds, having advised some of Australia’s largest funds in relation to structuring and cross border transactions.  Philip also has experience in general company law, including advisory work for non-profits, and insolvency law.  Philip also recently presented on the new Personal Property Securities regime for the Victorian Bar.

Roslyn Kaye, Monitor

Roslyn Kaye signed the Bar Roll in May 2009, prior to which she practised as a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution group at Mallesons Stephen Jaques.  She has a keen interest in all aspects of company law, including particularly duties of directors.
